About the Chiron Tourbillon Collection: In 2019, joined forces to create a landmark in luxury timepieces. The Bugatti Chiron Tourbillon, introduced in 2021, features a world-first: a replica of the Bugatti Chiron’s engine on the wrist. This hypercar-inspired watch boasts a manually powered mechanical movement, the JCAM37, with 578 components, a power reserve indicator, and a tourbillon inclined at 30 degrees.
The Chiron: The Chiron is a hypercar marvel with a 16-cylinder W-12 engine, producing 1,500 hp and pumping 60,000 litres of air per minute through four turbochargers. This makes it the fastest and most complex Bugatti ever produced.
The Chiron Tourbillon: Jacob & Co. pays homage to the Chiron’s 8-litre engine with a full-fledged replica, including synchronized pistons and a patented transverse system. The movement is placed over actual suspensions, preventing damage to the crown posts. Despite its complexity, the timepiece offers a 60-hour power reserve.
